Current research interest focuses on developing chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods: 1). to identify and quantify toxic chemicals for food safety testing; 2). to study chemically/physically-induced damage to biological macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, etc. that is related to human diseases; 3). to investigate the biological consequence of external stimuli by using a systematic metabolomics approach.
